Eligibility:
A pass in 10+2 or its equivalent with a minimum average of 60% of marks in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics or Biology (PCM / PCB)
A pass in 10+2 or its equivalent with 50% average marks in Physics, Chemistry &
Mathematics or Biology (PCM / PCB) for Candidates belonging to SC/ST and Students hailing from Jammu & Kashmir and from the North Eastern States
Physics, Chemistry & Biology (PCB) candidates are eligible only for BTech Bioinformatics, Bio-Medical Engineering & Biotechnology programmes.
Candidates appearing for the 10+2 examination in March /April 2011 are also eligible to apply.
Candidates born on or after 1st July 1989 are eligible to apply far VITEEE-2010. They should have studied in regular full-time formal stream in the school. These documents should be produced at the time of counseling, failing which they will not be considered for admission.
Scholarship under "GV School Development Programme" (GVSDP) Rank holders of 1 to 50 in VTTEEE will get 75% tuition fee wavier for all the 4 years.
Rank holders of 51 to 100 in VITEEE will get 50% tuition fee wavier for all the 4 years. 100% Tuition fee waiver for toppers of each State (in their State Board Exams) for all the 4 years.

How to Apply:
The Prospectus and the information brochure for the B.Tech Degree programme -2011, along with the necessary enclosures which include the Application Form and a printed self-addressed envelope, can be obtained against cash payment of Rs. 750/- from the various post offices as given.
Candidates can obtain from the designated branches of post offices on cash payment of Rs. 750/- (or) by sending a Demand Draft for Rs. 750/- drawn in favour of ‘VIT University’ payable at Vellore to the address of Admissions Officer, VIT University, Vellore with a request letter containing the complete address with phone number.
